More love for OMG Cafe

Ten months after first word of OMG Cafe, Dana Craig serves up a glowing 3-star review (along with a slide show) in the Richmond Times-Dispatch:

Located on a quiet strip just off Broad Street, OMG Café is a tiny spot serving up huge helpings of the kind of comfort food nutritionists rail against and grandmothers revel in — fried fish, meatloaf and macaroni and cheese.

Sure, you can find these things on many menus, but what makes OMG stand out is the obvious passion the people behind this establishment have for both home cooking and hospitality.

Wow, you couldn’t have asked for a better review than that! Congrats to OMG. Keep up the great work.

Way to go, Deandre and Stephanie! Waiting for Clark’s knees to heal up so we can pay a visit.

John…is this true? I sure hope I’m misinterpreting this.

NO! When did this happen? I can’t find anything online. DeAndre was one of the sweetest guys in the universe, to think that he’s gone rips my heart out. Please give more details. THIS SUCKS!

I’m so sorry for his family…he was such a great guy. I’m shocked and saddened to hear this news.

@Trish – maybe last night? Very recent. If I can find an obituary, I’ll share it out.
