I really like Ms Holloway’s work. The eyes on the young boy in ‘New Life’ seem to be glancing elsewhere, and anywhere but where he is at thr moment. It’s like he really doesn’t want to stay!
I visited Ms Holloway’s web site. Is she going to have most or all of her canvases at the showing?
The young boy is a detail of the painting, “Next Life.” Jennifer took a photo of this young boy at the playground and gave him wings in her painting. The canvases online are older works and many have been sold, however, some are still available. In her show “New Life,” opening this Friday, will be a new body of work never before shown.
