On 7-29-11 another cab driver was robbed by a black female fair in the same area as the incident that took place on 7-28-11. Units responded and cab driver gave a good description along with a direction of travel. Based off of the information received from the cab driver a black female was apprehended and ided by the cab driver as the suspect that robbed him. On 7-29-11 two suspects posing as meter readers were allowed in the residence at 1715 N 23rd Street. The suspects held two victims in the residence while asking for drugs and money. One of the victims was taped up and assaulted. Once the suspects left the residence and units responded it was discovered that residence was a fortified drug house. Based off of drugs in plain view and drugs located during the search of residence, the victims were arrested. This incident is still under investigation and it was an isolated event. The concern for this type of incident happening again is low because this house was targeted because of the illegal activity that was going on. But always be mindful of individuals representing themselves as people that they are not and trying to enter your home. If you suspect someone is attempting to do this notify the police immediately.
