If you were a fan of the previous pork festivals on the Hill you’re going to love Style Weekly’s Hogotberfest, celebrating local BBQ, live music and beer.
This festival, like it’s predecessor will become a Richmond rite of passage to the fall festival season. We’re keeping some of the ‘ol traditions of High On the Hog, and adding in new aspects that match the neighborhood as it is today, highlighting historic Church Hill’s Libby Park. Volunteers will receive a free Hogtoberfest t-shirt, and two beverage tickets.
Additionally, volunteers committed by 9/1/11 will have their name listed in a special thank you in Style Weekly magazine.

I really love this title. Hogtoberfest beats the heck out of the “Swine and Cheese” parties I’ve been to.
I signed up to volunteer but I haven’t heard anything. Also John the link isn’t working anymore.
