Like blueberries?

News from the Tricycle Gardens’ farmstand:

Between now – mid July, freshly picked, never sprayed, local blueberries will be available at our Farm Stand! The producer, Matt Goldman of Goldman Grown Produce and Nursery (GGPN) grows and tends more than 20 varieties of blueberries. He sells both plants and freshly harvested fruit. Located in Caroline County, GGPN specializes in strawberry and blueberry plants and fruit, and also carries a large selection of fruiting shrubs and trees including some unusual varieties, such as Russian pomegranate, Arctic kiwi, service berry, and persimmons. In addition, GGPN carries a selection of native plant species. For more information, a list of available plant material or to place an order for planting now or in the fall, contact goldmangrown@gmail.com .

I picked up a pint of these blueberries yesterday…they are shockingly delicious and have a taste very unlike the store bought kind. We’ll go back for more!
