I pass this place on my way north occasionally, and am intrigued. I hope they have an open house once construction is complete!

From what I can tell, the owner is building it himself. It’s been under construction for about a year. It’s such a pleasant change from the crack shanty that previously occupied that corner.

I love the Dr. Suess feel. Very interesting. I am looking forward to seeing it when it is done.

Just found this today.. Well I am the own and builder. I started building this last February, and yes I have built the entire house myself. My girlfriend always wanted a house in church Hill so I built this for her, We Call it the Church Hill Castle. I have used my Life savings to build this for her and it was a good investment because She loves it.

If Brad, the Church Hill reporter, would like to come by for pictures of the inside I am sure she would welcome him to do so.

I am truly happy that everyone enjoys and likes what I built here, It’s been rough, But I am sure will bring beauty and inspiration to the neighborhood . Thank you all for the Great reply’s and interest in my work.

I think most who saw this house coming together never thought it would shape up as well as it has.
