Car set ablaze in Fairmount

nbc12 has a story about a car that was set on fire on Thursday night on the 1400 block of 23rd Street:

“All right here was just like red lines and smoke coming out this side and coming out this side,” Martin said.

The driver’s seat is burned down to just mostly the frame. The door and steering wheel are melted. The sight of his only form of transportation up in flames was almost too much for him to handle.

I like how on the live report, he says, “These cars here were locked,” but he’s down at the Market.

Aside from that, that is ridiculous someone set the car on fire. Is it this faux summer heat we’re having that is prompting the recent acts of stupidity?
