Richmond Police are seeking a man who robbed the Family Dollar store located at 1220 North 25th Street at approximately 2:30PM today. The man walked into the store and stood in line at the register, displayed a handgun and took money. He walked from the store and was last seen running westbound on Fairmount Avenue.
The suspect is a black male, 35-40 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, blue hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans with faded patches on the leg. He was also wearing a Carolina Panthers knit cap.

Family Dollar Robber Strikes Again
Richmond Police needs the public’s help identifying and locating a robber targeting Family Dollar stores. Today’s robbery occurred at the Family Dollar at 7 E. 16th St.
Around 1 p.m. the suspect walked into the Family Dollar and stood in line at the register. Once all customers left the store, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded an employee open the cash register. He took the money from the register and left the store.
The suspect is a black male, 35 to 40 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 185 to 200 pounds with a medium complexion. In today’s robbery he was wearing a black leather jacket and dark blue jeans with faded patches on the leg.
