Shooting on Redd Street (UPDATED)

The RTD has sketchy details about a shooting last night in Mosby Court:

A 17- to 18-year-old man was shot twice [last night] … around 8:30 in a residence in the 1900 block of Redd Street, police said.

The victim is described as being in critical but stable condition. Police are looking for Lamar Shamon Hill in connection to the shooting.

Person of Interest – Redd Street Shooting

The Richmond Police Department is looking for Lamar Shamon Hill, 24, formerly of the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

Hill is a person of interest in last night’s shooting of an 18-year-old male at a residence in the 1900 block of Redd Street. The victim was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

In addition, Hill already was wanted on a probation violation, for possession of narcotics, and two counts of contempt of court.

Hill is a black male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. A photo of Hill accompanies this advisory.

Anyone with information on Hill or his current location is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
