The police are looking for Jason L. Patillo as “a person of interest” in the shooting deaths of James Patillo and Alfonzo Patillo in Richmond and Hopewell early Monday morning. Reports say that he should be considered armed and dangerous and may be driving a red, 2003 Ford diesel pickup truck. [via]

Jason Patillo is well known to police. He was charged last year with murder and illegal use of a firearm in the death of Lavar Robinson in the East End, but the charges were dropped after a witness refused to testify.

Since 2003, he has been charged with burglary, assault and battery, robbery, and abduction, but in each case the charge was dropped, according to Richmond Circuit Court records.
