1st Annual Decorating of the Tree @ Jefferson Park
12/16/2006 12:15 PM by John M
The new evergreen put in Jefferson Park by the Union Hill Civic Association and the Friends of Jefferson Park was decorated for the season this morning. You can still stop by and add your ornament!
While it is true the tree is a bit short and chubby, it really captures the flavor of the neighborhood. It is a species that should get huge, so it was planted in a great spot and has plenty of room to grow. We hope it will continue to serve as our neighborhood tree for many years to come. Dont forget to stop by and place a decoration on the tree…the more the merrier. Peace.
That’s a really fun idea! Maybe we can get an ornament on there in the next couple of days.
Bill and Friends of Jefferson Park,
Congratulations on the improvement of Jefferson Park. It’s looking better and better each time I see it!
