In late August, 48 families from Woodcroft Village, an apartment and town-house community below Church Hill, were displaced after their homes were damaged in the floods that followed the remnants of Tropical Storm Gaston. Yesterday, residents and officials from Richmond and the complex’s management company marked the end of a $2.3 million renovation of the property and expressed gratitude for assistance that poured in from the community.
