All neighborhood schools meet SOL marks

The Virginia Department of Education today released the 2010-2011 accreditation numbers based on last year’s Standards of Learning (SOL) scores. For the 3rd year in a row, all of the neighborhood schools are fully accredited (2009, 2008). Statewide 98% of schools are accredited, and all Richmond Public schools are accredited.

The Virginia Department of Education released the data on the School Accreditation Status for 2008-2009 today and all of the neighborhood schools are designated as Fully Accredited. Registration for After School Programs set for Sept.2-5

Fall registration for the Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities’ After School Programs will take place Sept. 2 through Sept. 5 from school closing to 5:30 p.m. each day. Registration is held in the school cafeterias of the 21 Richmond elementary schools where the program is offered.
