Whitcomb Street homicide victim identified
Richmond Police have identified the person killed on Whitcomb Street on July 27 as QianWu Huang, 17, a Chinese national. Positive identification was made yesterday evening by an uncle of the victim, who lives in New York City.
Delivery man shot to death on Whitcomb Street
Just before midnight last night, Richmond Police were called to the 2200 block of Whitcomb Street for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, they found an as-yet-unidentified Asian male who had been shot to death, who cbs6 is reporting was a food delivery man.
Street Resurfacing Project Schedule includes Whitcomb Street and Jefferson Avenue
The City of Richmond Department of Public Works has announced a series of street resurfacing projects to take place between March 16 and April 15, 2009, which include both Jefferson Avenue from Leigh Street to 21st Street and Whitcomb Street from Mecklinburg Street to Mechanicsville Turnpike.
