more on the Venable stop signs
nbc12 has a bit more on the now council-approved 4-way stops on Venable Street:
City Council voted in favor of placing several four-way stop signs on Venable Street. [...]
While City Council approved the stop signs, the Department of Public Works did not recommend them. It says putting up stop signs do not successfully calm traffic, like some other measures would.
The mayor now has 14 days to veto the stop signs if he chooses. But, if plans move forward the stop signs could go up as quickly as within a month.
