Register now for the Hill Topper 5k
The Hill Topper 5k runs on Sunday March 25, 2012 at 8AM as part of the Church Hill Irish Festival. Goals for the event include showcasing the neighborhood, promoting healthy lifestyles, and building upon our community pride. It’s $25 to register now and $30 after February 28th.

“Malcolm Cook returned a kickoff 99 yards to help Armstrong (1-9, 0-7) avoid a shutout” in their loss to Henrico in the Wildcats final game of the season.

The Wildcats’ Malcolm Cook finished with five completions for 105 yards, including a three-yard scoring toss to Kemontre Harris

Antoine Smith ran the ball six times for 118 yards for Armstrong, including a 63-yard scoring run. Vincent Herring finished with five receptions for 83 yards and a TD for the Wildcats.
Players robbed at Gillie’s Creek Disc Golf course
Richmond police Capt. Paul Kiniry said neither man was injured in the robbery, which occurred at 1:38 p.m. when the two were approached by a pair of young men who engaged them in conversation before one pulled out a black handgun. The robbers took the wallet of one of the men before fleeing on foot.
Armstrong falls to #6 Hanover
Lawrence Jones had 126 yards on nine carries and three touchdowns, Dylan Jackson and Henry Reeves each added a touchdown as the Hawks defeated the Wildcats (1-6, 0-4 Capital).
