Run to the River 2011

Gather your friends, family and co-workers and register today for the Rocketts Landing Run to the River, a fundraising event for the Neighborhood Resource Center on October 22nd.

Whether you choose the challenging 10K urban cross country run or the 5K family walk, you’ll be treated to a great course, friendly volunteers, delicious post-race food and the opportunity to learn more about a great cause: the Neighborhood Resource Center!

The NRC opened in 2005 to provide programs and resources to low-wealth families in the Greater Fulton community of Richmond’s East End. Today the center serves more than 800 individuals each year through programs such as a Montessori preschool, after-school tutoring, GED classes, job support services, the Children’s Learning Garden and a community organizing initiative, Greater Fulton’s Future.
