All ok in apartment fire
THe RTD is reporting that there were no injuries in a Mosby apartment fire this morning:
The fire occurred about 10:40 a.m. in a second-floor unit at a two-story apartment building in the 1900 block of Redd Street, near the Accommodation Street intersection.

Shooting near Mosby Court
An as-yet-unidentified 19-year-old is at MCV after being shot in the chest during a drive-by on the 2200 block of Redd Street soon after 5PM this evening. From the RTD:
“About 50 people surrounded the crime scene within minutes of the shooting but quickly dispersed when police approached them for information.”

shooting on Redd Street (UPDATED)
The RTD has sketchy details about a shooting last night in Mosby Court:
A 17- to 18-year-old man was shot twice [last night] … around 8:30 in a residence in the 1900 block of Redd Street, police said.
The victim is described as being in critical but stable condition. Police are looking for Lamar Shamon Hill in connection to the shooting.

stabbing in Mosby
An 16-year-old boy is in the hospital after being stabbed at just after 5PM yesterday afternoon at the intersection of Accommodation and Redd Streets. The teen’s injuries are said to be non-life threatening and a suspect has been arrested. [via]

On the heels of Friday night’s shooting, a 20-year-old man was shot in his left side by someone inside a small, gold, four-door car, possibly a Chevrolet Cavalier. at about noon at Mechanicsville Turnpike and Redd Street.[ from the RTD ]
