More than 100 people turned out to see City of Richmond officials and panelists from Baltimore speak on the state of vacant housing and neighborhood stabilization policy alternatives at a seminar on Friday morning at the Federal Reserve Bank on Byrd Street.
In a moved described in a nutshell as “Carthan Currin is out, Rachel Flynn’s role is muted and Jan Ferarra will now head merged departments”, the city has restructured the Economic and Community Development Departments.

The Virginia Center for Architecture will celebrate a pictorial exhibit highlighting 50 years of preservation of Richmond’s historic properties and neighborhoods.
