Still looking for leads in September shooting

Fire on Q Street

The Richmond Fire Department reports a rather dramatic house fire at around 9PM last night on the 2600 block of Q Street.

Killing on Q Street

Thomas Earl Kelly, 30, of the 1600 block of North 21st Street, was found shot in the 1900 block of Q Street about 10:30 last night. Kelly was transported to VCUMC where he was pronounced dead.

The RPD reports a shooting on Friday night on Q Street: AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (SHOOTING) 8/5/11 9:30 p.m. 3300 block of Q Street A male reported he was shot by an unknown male. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Second Midlothian homicide suspect has local connection

Richmond Police are seeking Kevin Antoine Alert, 23, of the 2000 block of Q Street or the 10,000 block of Woodman Road in Henrico County in connection to a homicide last Tuesday on Midlothian Turnpike. He is also known to hang out in the 1800 block of Creighton Road.
