Orienteering Day returns to Chimborazo in June

Learn fitness, geography, land formations, cognitive reasoning, problem solving and self-reliance! Family Orienteering Day will again be held in Chimborazo Park on Saturday, June 12. Registration is 10AM-noon, the event will run noon-3PM.

Orienteering meet draws wide range of competitors

Thirty-two teams signed up to compete in the Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities’ first orienteering meet, which was held February 21 in Chimborazo Park. They consisted of families, children, and adults, all of varying skill levels ranging from the first-time novices to regular competitors. Competitors came from as far away as Baltimore.

Orienteering this Saturday at Chimborazo Park

The Quantico Orienteering Club will be holding an event this Saturday, February 21, at Chimborazo Park. Registration is from noon till 2PM.
