Capt. Paul Kiniry said the man told officers he was listening to music on his laptop at 2:05 a.m. in the 800 block of Mosby Street when a man with a handgun came on the porch, confronted him and forced him to surrender the computer and cash before fleeing.
At approximately 6:25 p.m., Richmond Police responded to the 1000 block of Mosby Street for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived they found a black male near O Street suffering from a gunshot wound. He was unresponsive and died at the scene.

Richmond Police need the public’s help to identify and locate two males who robbed Market Place 14 at 1235 Mosby Street at gunpoint on Wednesday.
