The Richmond Free Press is reporting that Woolfolk & Sons Seafood Restaurant at 1627 Mechanicsville Turnpike “has closed as a result of the owners’ retirement”.

In addition to the roving produce bus, the Farm to Family Market opens today just up the road at 2817 Mechanicsville Turnpike. Market hours will be Wed–Thur 10AM-7PM, Fri 11AM-8PM, Sat 8AM-5PM, and Sun 11AM-3PM.
Church’s Chicken robbed at gunpoint (again)
The RTD is reporting that “a black male displayed a metal handgun at the Church’s Fried Chicken outlet at 1900 Mechanicsville Turnpike” just before 7PM last night and proceeded to rob the joint. (see also)

Church’s Chicken robbed at gunpoint
The RPD’s Noteworthy Incidents yesterday reported that on 10/26/09 at about 1PM “the business at 1900 Mechanicsville Turnpike was robbed at gunpoint by three unknown males. One arrest was made.”
Who robbed the Stop N Go?
Richmond Police needs the public’s help identifying and locating the suspects responsible for Wednesday morning’s robbery of the Stop N Go convenience store at 1600 Mechanicsville Turnpike.
