In a story about Jefferson Avenue getting resurfaced, there is mention that Christopher Davis will open a business on the corner of Jefferson Avenue and Clay Street in 3 weeks. It has long been rumored that this spot will be a BBQ joint. Can someone please tell me that this is true?

Street Resurfacing Project Schedule includes Whitcomb Street and Jefferson Avenue

The City of Richmond Department of Public Works has announced a series of street resurfacing projects to take place between March 16 and April 15, 2009, which include both Jefferson Avenue from Leigh Street to 21st Street and Whitcomb Street from Mecklinburg Street to Mechanicsville Turnpike.
