And it happened. Last night; word is that Daniel Day-Lewis, who is rumored to be renting a house in Church Hill during the three month shoot, dined at Church Hill’s own The Hill Café.

Project Kids Chef teaches students nutrition

Fifth-grade students at Richmond’s Chimborazo Elementary School have discovered that healthy food can also taste good thanks to “Project Kids Chef,” a nutrition and cooking demonstration program that features partnerships with local restaurants and the Farm to Family “mobile veggie bus.”

Four police cars haul ass down from 25th Street down Broad Street to the Hill Cafe. I asked one of the officers on the scene what was going on, he says “Nothing” and pointedly walks away.
