a proper response to the offer of free watermelon
3rd of the 7 things that Ashlee the CHAT intern learned over the summer: 3) You can go around the neighborhood and randomly hand out watermelon. CHAT hoping for book donations
Church Hill Activities & Tutoring (CHAT) will soon be implementing a new reading program with the aim “to get groups of kids reading and talking about the same stories, creating a communal dialogue and, hopefully, excitement about reading stories”. They have a need for 40 copies of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and 20 copies of The Fellowship of the Ring. Drop a line to CHAT Program Director Murray Withrow at murray.withrow@chatrichmond.org if you will be able to make a donation.
