The Church Hill Challenge

Elliott has invented a walking food tour challenge of Church Hill: I just got a crazy idea: There is a series of amazing restaurants between the traffic circle at 25th Jefferson and M and my house. We need to capitalize on that. I call it the Church Hill Challenge.

Local food/wine blogger pjpink of River City Food and Wine passed through the neighborhood for Richmond Italian Street Festival 2007 (calling it “a fantastic day for food and wine”) and then took in the charms of Captain Buzzy and Libby Hill.

A 10-year-old Church Hill website

We’ve recently discovered an East Broad Street oriented website from 1996 that is like a small time capsule. The site includes a history of Broad Street and a page for the Quick Check that was in the Captain Buzzy’s building.
