And some of the bear claws are 45 years old!
So beautiful. So little time.
Best. Donuts. EVER.
Great donuts and love that they are open 24 hours a day–except that means I have access to them 24 hours a day which means I can eat them 24 hours a day. This may be why I am fat. Damn you, Country Style!!!!!
I will say that while Country Style donuts are outstanding, they may have lost their throne to the new Sugar Shack on Leigh Street. That place is unbelievably good. Now I have two donuts shops to grease my skid into diabetes.
You are right, Lady. Best I’ve ever had!
The apple filled are the best in the city!
If you are lucky to get some warm and fresh out of the fryer……pure heaven!!!!
Most folks don’t realize the true story of Country Style. The shop was built upon the crater formed when Superman (Kal-El son of Jor-El) crashed onto earth. The Government had to cover up the story and whisk Superman off to Smallville. The lingering traces of Superman still makes this place the site of the greatest donuts ever made. So the next time you are munching on a glazed sour cream donut really savor the strong sense of justice, morality, and righteousness in very bite.
while I agree Sugar Shack is good, I don’t think they have anything on Country Style
Lady 23 nailed it….best ever! Maple is my fave. What’s everyone elses fave?
Chocolate iced Bavarian. My second favorite is a tie between all of the other ones.
