Man shot in Whitcomb

Richmond police were searching for a suspect today after a man was shot and wounded while trying to drive away from an attempted robbery in the Whitcomb Court public-housing project in the city’s East End. [...] The suspect, who ran from the scene of the shooting, in the 2400 block of Carmine Street, was described as a black man in his 20s with a stocky build and brandishing a silver handgun.
