CHAT takes 2nd in 2012 Amazing Raise
The Community Foundation’s 36-hour online fundraiser, The Amazing Raise, generated more than $1 million in donations — and an additional $110,000 in prize money — for nearly 400 area nonprofit groups by the time it ended at 6 p.m. Thursday. [...] The public broadcasting group (WCVE) had the lead for the top prize, with 856 donors, and Church Hill Activities and Tutoring was second, with 819 [and over $100,000]
CHAT won the Amazing Raise in 2011 with 380 donors and just over $40,000.

We just can’t thank the community enough for helping us compete with NPR in the Amazing Raise. Church Hill helped us stay at the top and we couldn’t be happier. Also, thanks for not only giving but coming out and being involved in the lives of the youth in our community. Good things are happening!
