NBC12 got a firsthand account from the angry roommate who said a drunk Miss Virginia USA went on a gay bashing rant this weekend. He accuses Nikki Poteet of using gay slurs and breaking furniture in the Church Hill house they rent.
So two roommates have a big fight, say hurtful things and it’s a news story b/c one of them is a beauty queen?

All that can be said about the former Miss Virginia USA was summed up in her own words, earlier in the evening than the fighting: “Hello all, I’m Miss Virginia USA this week and next week I will go back to being nothing again.”
A pretty sad statement about how this women viewed herself.
