Found — male pit bull, young, friendly, dark coat, neutered. Wandering in 2700 Block of E. Broad Street at 9:45 am today. Will take to Animal Control Shelter when opens late this morning. Contact Alli at 782-1170.

Did you get to take to the shelter Alli? I am asking because I also found another brown-coated very friendly pit bull on 27th st at 12h30 today. I fed him and gave him some water then he got into someone’s car as they pulled honking the horn. Wonder if that actually was the owner or the pit got abducted???
I did take the dog we found to the shelter. I checked on him this morning and no one has claimed him. He’s a really nice dog and clearly cared for. Very odd. I hope that his owner is actually looking for him and knows enough to check here or the shelter.
I saw a new sign up this morning at 31st and Marshall for a lost friendly male pit bull named Digsy. There is a phone number on the sign and a color photo of the dog. SOunds like it could be the same one.
Thanks, Andrea. Just went out to find sign, called and it is probably his dog. Hopefully they’ll connect tomorrow.
