Oh, so now Bud and Brown Distributing are the sponsors? I thought Style was sponsoring it, and CHA got the proceeds. So who made the final decision to not include Alamo and Ronnie’s for BBQ? Brown Distributing? How did I get the idea that Style was sponsoring it and not Brown? Hmm….
And this commercial sounds suspiciously like an ad for HOTH which did NOT advertise. Another hmm….
crd: Alamo IS included now. From what I understand, CHA and Style organized the event and Brown is a sponsor.
Perhaps because you did not read or pay attention to the other link where it was strongly suggested that a beer distributor was the sponsor. They sponsor most festivals/events that involve selling alcohol because they know how to get the proper permits and are willing to help pay for them.
At least it’s happening man! I’m excited to go, I heard Alamo WILL be there so it should be all good!
“Hill yeah!” LOL!!!
I will be out of town, an event I attend yearly. Good luck and hope the weather is good.
SEW #2, thanks.
Nordy #3, actually I did read the other thread and I got that it was suggested there that the beer distributor was the sponsor but thanks for the comment. However, no beer distributor sponsored HOTH in tha past (I was there for most of the thirty years); CHA sponsored it so far as the beer license went. Plus, sometime this summer, I read in the CHA newsletter that they were spending $7,000 towards the licensing. Somehow I got the wrong idea, obviously, and now I stand corrected.
