Awesome! Thanks.
Is it possible to get prints made of these?
I’ve copied some of them from other sites… they help me quite a bit in my research and I don’t have to leave home.
I’ve never liked that 1862 map with EVERYTHING wrong but the street grid…
I would be interested in prints too! If anyone can make them or knows where to obtain them, please post your contact info.
These are from the Library of Congress http://memory.loc.gov
Very very high rez versions are available, good enough to print large.
Look at the lower left hand corner of the 1864 map at the publisher’s name. Hilarious!
