Built in 1890, 623 North 25th Street is “one of the largest commercial buildings” in the historic districts in Church Hill. The building appears to have begun life as a boarding house, and has since progressed through a number of commercial uses on the lower level. The upstairs has been a separate address since at least the mid-1930s.

Oh oh! Do my house!
I used the Hill Directories down at the Main Library to pull this together (https://chpn.net/news/2009/11/29/who-lived-in-your-house_10930/). If anyone wants to lookup another property, I’d love to share it.
Had dinner at the Roosevelt last night and it was AMAZING! Hats off to Kendra and her team–they are doing great things. I’ll be back for another meal, or maybe just a drink at the bar, sometime very soon!

I had used them 11 years ago and found the house was vacant in 1914 and I think I had seen one other report before that year with someone living here. I just wish I could figure out when the house was built.
