Lost dog found at Chimborazo Dog Park
She was young (less than a year), dark sandy coloring, no collar, no micro chip, very nervous but very sweet. Looked like a mix, with some pit bull and maybe some hound. I didn’t have a place to keep her so took her to Richmond Animal Control on Wednesday. They hold her for ten days [...]

Murder at a historic low in the East End
Through the 1st 4 months of 2011, there has only been one homicide in the East End. Contrast this with 5 in 2010, 4 in 2009 (the best year on record), and a whopping 17 in 1994. There have been 12 killings in Richmond so far in 2011, on pace to set a record low.
