Richmond police say a student was stabbed this morning by a fellow student at a middle school in the city’s East End. The stabbing was reported at 8:25 a.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School in the 1000 block of Mosby Street.
Okay, no fewer than 11 marked and one unmarked just went screaming down East Broad…they seem to have congregated at the round house at the far end of Chimbo Park…and I hear more coming. Anybody know what’s up??
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (SHOOTING) 4/4/11 11:14 p.m. 1400 block of Coalter Street A male reported he was shot by unknown suspects. The victim’s injuries are not life threatening.
The East End has had 1 homicide in 2011, a late-January killing in Mosby Court for which an arrest has been made. Last year at this time the area had seen 5 killings after a bloody beginning of April left 3 people dead. In 2009, likely best year in at least the last 40 years [...]
