Corbin has assisted Great Hope Baptist Church in organizing their annual Sickle Cell Anemia Awareness Walk for the past two years. Corbin’s involvement comes from his desire to help others and educate the public about the disease.

Car vs school bus at 22nd and Fairmount

A Richmond woman is facing multiple charges after police said she failed to yield to a city special-needs school bus, resulting a crash that injured five people. According to Richmond Police, 30-year-old Latisha Walker crashed into the bus at the intersection of 22nd and Fairmount Streets just before 9 a.m. Monday.

CHAT’s Pine Wood Derby is Wednesday

This Wednesday, April 27th, CHAT will be hosting its annual Pine Wood Derby race from 5:30-7PM at the Robinson Theatre (2903 Q Street). Sixteen youth have been constructing cars at Nehemiah’s Workshop and will be competing in the race. We invite folks from the community to attend this free event and cheer on the youth!
