Photos from Saturday’s Union Hill Clean Up
MCV Green Unity has a ton of photos up from Saturday’s Union Hill Clean Up.
We picked up 19 bags of trash, 15 bags of can/bottle recycling, and numerous large items including 2 tires, a weed whacker, and a chair! Thanks to everyone who pitched in!
A great event with a great bunch of people! We had over 35 people in attendance, from our neighbors and members from the Union Hill Neighborhood Association, to VCU faculty, staff, students and even a police officer. Thanks for the community effort, and we hope to see even more of your smiling faces at our next clean-up May 28th!
Thanks again, Rachel and the MCV Grean Unity team for doing this cleanup. Earlier this autumn, I felt honored to weld my litter stick with your group. Sorry to have missed being with you last weekend! We are lucky to have such good neighbors in Union Hill.
