In addition to the new houses highlighted at the end of August, there looks to be nice renovation and a new house happening at 26th and Clay Street.

This will be a great addition to our block. I saw them laying the bricks for the new foundation by hand last week. Very cool.
Has there been CAR plans submitted on the redo and the new infill? Has anyone seen what the new infill will look like?
Yes, the plans were submitted on the in-fill and approved at the August meeting. The plans were nice, late 1800′s period style, Hardie plank, very fitting for the block – a substantial corner home. Clad, single pane windows were approved which I thought was odd but it may be because they (CAR) didn’t want it to be “too original” in appearance. I was not present if there were plans submitted for the renovation.
