Woman shoots son on Chimborazo

nbc12 has word on a shooting, but little info: Police have charged a 58-year-old woman with aggravated assault for allegedly shooting her [adult] son. Police say Gilda Anderson shot her son Friday morning at their home in the 1000 block of Chimborazo Blvd.

Scooter stolen from Sette, thieves flee to Fairfield

Volunteer to check on your elderly neighbors

The city of Richmond’s Neighbor-to-Neighbor program is currently recruiting volunteers to conduct well-being checks on the city’s elderly and disabled population during periods of extreme temperatures and to assist the city in operating cooling shelters when the temperature reaches or exceeds the 95 degree mark.
