Lost a calico or yellow lab?
A calico cat and a yellow lab have both been seen out&about this morning…

This morning I spotted a calico cat about to wander into traffic at Broad and 30th–she is apparently blind and deaf. She seems accustomed to being handled, so I’m hoping there is somewhere she belongs (especially given her inability to survive on the streets for very long).
Also got this in the morning email:
There appears to be a lost or abandoned yellow lab mix in the Chimborazo Dog Park. I am going to call animal control once they open, but thought it worthwhile to post on your blog just in case this dog was not abandoned.

my roomate left my back gate unlocked after her trying to get in our house after she locked her self out…i didnt know that and let my dogs out zoey was the only one that got out and i could never find her last night please call me at work with any info Bryan at 804-232-4175 thanks she was wearing a banddana
The yellow lab is no longer in the dog park. It has either been claimed, freed, or taken elsewhere.

@Mariane–Yes, of course I did. I imagine we have a new kitty, unless someone out there wants a blind/deaf cat?
Thank you K for picking her up. Those moments put you in a bad spot, but what else could you do? Leaving her there would not be an option for me, either.
