This really works! I posted a project to DonorsChoose back over one of the January snow days, seeking a bunch of USB drives for a class of mine. I just found out that the project was fully funded, by donations from individual donors from DC and Pennsylvania, and a generous gift from The Pershing Square Foundation.
John, I LOVE DonorsChoose!!! As a kindergarten teacher in Church Hill it is such a great resource!!! I just had my third project this year, fourth project total, funded! I am so excited. My kindergarten students and classroom have received so many manipulatives, books, art supplies, cds, (math, science,and social science) and even furniture through the generous donations of people from Richmond, VA, NC, NY, GA, CA, and even Alaska!
