Found black lab in Union Hill
At around 12:30pm today, a black female lab mix was found wandering the corner of 24th and Cedar. She has a red leather collar and a flea collar, but no ID tags. She is friendly, and she responds to the command “sit.” If this is your dog, and/or you know who she belongs to, please contact Dave (804) 690-3509; she will be at our house for the day, but will most likely be transferred to Richmond Animal Care and Control tomorrow morning.
Great looking dog. Is it me or is there a lot of lost dogs as of late?
Seems like par for the course here. As a dog owner myself, i can’t see how people let this happen all the time.
She’s the cutest thing. Hope she finds her way home soon.
I wish you do gooders would stop picking up cats and dogs. If people lost a dog or cat it is real hard to find them if they are in your house. Most residents do not read this rag, they drive around and call out for their lost animal. Your efforts to save the animal only prevent it from returning home or being found.
