To be more inclusive of the greater Church Hill neighborhood, the Church Hill Association has expanded the route of tonight’s post-Vespers bagpipes and candle light walk. As in past years, everyone is invited to participate.
This Saturday the East End Library will host author Danita Rountree Green in a reading and community discussion of her newly released novel Love Locked Down, a novel about women in relationships with incarcerated men.
Central Montessori School will host a Winter Parade on Friday, December 11: “We will carol/sing winter songs up Broad street from 21st to Fire House Number One” starting at 4:30PM. All are welcome to join in; Please bring seasonal cookies as gifts for our neighborhood heroes-first responders.
The next meeting of the recently organized Church Hill Central Civic Association will be 7-8PM on Monday, December 14th, at the East District Initiative Center (701 North 25th Street). The meeting will be immediately followed by a social hour at Patrick Henry Pub & Grille. (flyer PDF)
