Apartment fire on Coalter Street
A dramatic early-morning apartment fire got things jumping today on Coalter Street:
At least 19 people suffered minor injuries in a Richmond apartment fire in the 1300 block of Coalter Street Wednesday. Fire officials arrived on scene just after 8:30 a.m. with heavy flames showing from a basement apartment building.
A fire truck from station 1 that should have been at the apartment fire was out of service due to man power.
