James River Sacred Harp Convention today at St.John’s Church

Once a year, people travel to Richmond from far and wide to raucously celebrate the shape note and Sacred Harp singing tradition. This year it’s happening on November 7th at St. John’s Episcopal Church with the James River Sacred Harp Convention on Saturday, November 7th from 10am to 3:30pm. [via]
