A form of neighbor torture

The constant drone of a gas-powered generator is fraying nerves and has neighbors asking about the legality of running a generator nearly non-stop for several days. Is this ok or what?

Church Hill North meeting moved to November 9

The next meeting to organize a civic association for areas in Church Hill North will be held on Monday, November 9th from 7-9PM in the large conference room of EDI at 25th&M Streets. The meeting was originally scheduled for next week but was pushed back due to scheduling conflicts. (previously)

Police looking for B&E suspect

The Richmond Police are looking for Sterling Antonio Lewis. He is wanted in at least one of the 8 reported burglaries in Union Hill and Church Hill over the past month.

Local man arrested for Wachovia robbery

Richmond Police have captured the man who robbed the Wachovia Bank at 1800 Chamberlayne Avenue a week ago today. Based on information from a Crime Stoppers tip, investigators identified and arrested Charles E. McCall, 46, of the 2100 block of Accommodation Street, who later confessed to the robbery. He will be prosecuted in federal court.
