It would be nice to see all those campaign signs illegally placed in the ROW and tree wells removed and placed on private property. I noted a fresh batch in the ROW yesterday on Franklin and 29th.
City Code allows anyone to remove illegally placed signs without liability or recourse.
There was a campaign sign on the property of Bellevue School last night. I asked the school and they did not give permission for the sign. Perhaps an over-zealous campaign worker thought if they post the sign by the school that the parents would think that Bellevue was endorsing her candidacy? If so, it did not work; instead there was indignation that the sign was posted there.
Tiny, who was the candidate leaving her goo on school property?
Also the sign on school property reveals how little the candidate knows…most of the students attending Bellevue are out of zone and their parents won’t be voting in the 7th.
Regarding the meet and greet, I thought It Must Be Heaven was endorsing Newbille, they had a huge banner up for her last week.

No. Newbille and McQuinn just had or will have a meet and greet there.
Libby Hill Res. – Don’t worry about taking the signs down. I’ll take care of them. I can’t be out there until tomorrow. I’d rather use them, pick them up when this is all over and recycle the metal and plastic.
