The Union Hill Historic District Initiative blog has an update on the move towards the Union Hill O&H District. Church’s Chicken robbed at gunpoint

The RPD’s Noteworthy Incidents yesterday reported that on 10/26/09 at about 1PM “the business at 1900 Mechanicsville Turnpike was robbed at gunpoint by three unknown males. One arrest was made.”

Free gun safety event at the Robinson on Saturday

There will be a free Gun Safety event this Saturday, October 31, from 4-6PM at the Robinson Theater (2903 Q Street). Free gun locks will be given out to those 21+older and children can get hyped on free hotdogs, chips, drinks, candy bags, Taekwondo demonstration, music, and face painting.
